Teri Meri Kahaani: recensioni e interviste

Teri Meri Kahaani è stato distribuito venerdì. Vi segnaliamo di seguito alcune recensioni. Bollywood Hungama, ***1/2: 'TMK is uncomplicated and charming. Not the usual romantic fare, this one presents three different stories in three different eras without getting theatrical or melodramatic. Thanks to its innovative storytelling, it comes across as the perfect date movie, holding tremendous appeal for the Facebook Gen. TMK is pleasurable and fascinating in equal measures!'. The Times of India, ***: 'The script lacks depth and fails to ignite enough passion or chemistry for a love story. (...) There are no highs, lows, conflicts or complications that make you gush, or give you gooseflesh. To put it simply, this story is - Boy meets girl. Period. Boy meets girl. Period. And boy meets girl. Period...'. Business of Cinema, ***: 'Predictable, but beautifully told, TMK is for die-hard romantics'. Faridoon Shahryar, ***: 'A hurried climax and a sugarcane-juice-spiked ending of all the three love stories makes TMK a perfect case of a novel premise, fine acting by the lead pair, engrossing dialogues-n-situations, crafty music score but the director is unable to wrap-up the film convincingly. (...) TMK is not the ultimate love story but it is watchable for sure'. Hindustan Times, **: 'The film's main ingredient — love — is too synthetic to soar'. Koimoi, *: 'An extremely slow movie where too much has been attempted without any purpose. (...) Shahid Kapoor is undoubtedly superb'. Mayank Shekhar: 'When you don’t have one story to tell, I suppose you can tell three, and dish out three completely unrelated romantic movies for the price of two superstars. (...) The audience also gets to pay for only one ticket. (...) It seems like both Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra are auditioning for future roles, and they’ve done a fine job. (...) But what’s this movie really about? Good question'. Vi segnaliamo inoltre una lunga intervista concessa da Shahid Kapoor a Hindustan Times.
