I want to live: the story of Madhubala - Khatija Akbar

Vi segnaliamo un'originale iniziativa intrapresa da Long Live Cinema: celebrare il centenario del cinema indiano attraverso l'analisi dei migliori libri dedicati negli anni all'argomento. Si parte con I want to live: the story of Madhubala (2011), di Khatija Akbar, edito da Hay House. L'autore del pezzo scrive: 'The importance of this book lies in the fact that Madhubala was a recluse so to collect information about her has been a task of dogged perseverance, but it has immortalized Madhubala among the heart of cinema fans for all times to come.  The icing on the cake was the interview that Khatija Akbar could cull out from Dilip Kumar about Madhubala, who had given her only time of 10 minutes to speak about Madhubala but the interview went on for more than 45 minutes'. Vi segnaliamo anche la recensione del volume pubblicata da Hindustan Times il 23 maggio 2011.
